Hemorrhoids Relief
Hemorrhoids can be a very uncomfortable and even painful thing to suffer from. A diet high in fiber and drinking plenty of water will help to get rid of the hemorrhoids. There are also creams and pain pills out that can help to mask the symptoms and make the sufferer feel better temporarily. Sitting in a warm sitz bath for fifteen minutes or so can also give some temporary relief, especially after bowel movements; make sure it is a warm not hot bath because a hot bath could aggravate the hemorrhoids more.
The quickest way for someone suffering from hemorrhoids to get relief would be to have a doctor surgically remove the hemorrhoids. This procedure can be a very costly one, so if the hemorrhoids are minor, home care under a doctor’s supervision, might be the best option.
Some alternatives to surgically removing hemorrhoids are banding, injections, and coagulation. Banding applies pressure to the hemorrhoid forcing it to recede, while an injection with solution will close up the hemorrhoids, and coagulation is done by a laser closing up the hemorrhoid. Any of these alternatives will offer relief and freedom of hemorrhoids in as little as one doctor’s visit.
